AIRBRUSH TANNING Q & A's
HOW LONG DOES AN APPOINTMENT LAST?
7 minutes to apply, booking appointment is 20 mins.
HOW LONG WILL MY TAN LAST?
On average 4-10 days. Depending on the skin type, prep and post care. Each client will be evaluated at first visit to customize color perfectly.
Following proper pre/post care will help keep your tan on longer. Always remember to quickly rinse, no scrubbing. Patting dry after each shower and always moisturizing.
Please note, everyone's skin is different and absorbs the solution differently. Pictures on website are real clients, but only for display. Pictures do not advertise certain solution colors.
WHAT SHOULD I STAY AWAY FROM?
Stay away from oil and bar soap! Plain shower gel wash is perfect when washing. Anything with sulfate in it will remove your tan and make it look splotchy. Avoid soap prior to appointment and post care.
DO I STILL NEED SUNSCREEN IF I HAVE A AIRBRUSH TAN?
Yes, you can still burn from the sun. Airbrush tanning does not protect your skin from the sun. Sunscreen is a must! For better results, stick to oil free sunscreen.
HOW SOON CAN I COME BACK?
Anytime. As long as you have no old spray tan build up on your skin. Not exfoliating properly can change the color of the tan along with looking dirty in areas from the built up.
IS AIRBRUSH TANNING SAFE?
Airbrush tanning is a safe alternative to indoor and outdoor tanning and is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation. The American Academy of Dermatology, The American Cancer Society and the Medical Association. DHA (Dihydroxyacetone)- is often derived by plant sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane and by the fermentation of glycerin, which is commonly used in cosmetics. DHA reacts with the skin's amino acids.
HOW DOES MOBILE TANNING WORK?
Traveling fee up to 10 miles is already included into $85 price. Anything past 10 miles will be an additional $1/Mile traveling fee. This is for one client pricing, please note traveling fee does not change in price for groups. It is a one time price. Additional clients will be charged normal price as service is listed, depending on service preference. $30 DEPOSIT WILL BE NEEDED TO BOOK A MOBILE TAN APPOINTMENT, NON REFUNDABLE. Remaining balance will be paid after session. Rescheduling must be done 24 hours in advance prior to appointment to avoid non refundable cancellation fee of $30.

IS A MITT INCLUDED? HOW DO I WASH MY MITT?
Yes! You will receive a soft body and face mitt applicator with every purchase of Liquid Confidence Self Tanning Mousse.
Hand wash your tanning mitt under warm water. Add sulfate-free body wash to remove stubborn stains. If you tan every week, replace a mitt every 6 weeks. If you don't tan as often, getting a new mitt every 2-3 months is fine. Depends on how you care for your mitt and how often its used.
HOW DO I BLEND IN THE MOUSSE TO MAKE A PERFECT TAN?
Circular motions, lightly apply oil free lotion to extra dry areas before applying to prevent dry areas from darkening if needed. Examples: knees, elbows, etc.
HOW LONG WILL MY LIQUID CONFIDENCE MOUSSE LAST?
On average 4-7 days. The first day is always the darkest. Allow 8-12 hours of developing. You can put it on before your head out for the night! There is absolutely no scent!! Once its dry, your skin will NOT feel sticky. It will have a scent-free "smooth feel" finish once the mousse is dry. Each day it will slowly lighten up naturally.
Always remember to quickly rinse, no scrubbing. Patting dry after each shower and always moisturizing.

HOW SOON CAN I REAPPLY?
Anytime. Its your call! Your best bet is exfoliating properly after the end of each tan to avoid looking dirty in areas from the tan built up.
I LOVE THE MOUSSE BUT I WANT TO BE DARKER! WHAT CAN I DO?
Wait until first layer is fully dry, Everyone's skin is different! Once dry apply a second layer.
I AM A BRIDE! CAN I USE LIQUID CONFIDENCE FOR MY WEDDING?
YES! Bride and bridesmaids! Apply the night before, shower in the morning. Expect a beautiful natural looking tan, with no residue on the dress. We recommend a trial run, everyone's skin is different. Some process quicker, darker, lighter. You may love the second day the best, or maybe the third day. Its good to know what your getting with the tan if you plan ahead.
Policies
Our sessions are by appointment only.
Because we respect the privacy of our clients, please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible to avoid overlapping with prior clients.
Any cancelation’s/rescheduling must be down at lease 6 hours in advance to avoid half your tanning session charge.
Arriving 10-15 minutes after your scheduled time may result in a cancellation of your appointment. Please call/text if you may be late to determine if we are able to accommodate or adjust the schedule.
Male clients must wear some form of briefs.
We do not carry cash for travel appointments. Please be sure to have exact amount of cash. If coming to our location, preferably accept cash, VISA, MasterCard and Venmo if you have the app.
There is a $25 fee for all returned checks.
If you are a package holder and do not provide a 6 hour notice of cancellation we reserve the right to deduct that session from your package.
Package sessions cannot be used for travel appointments. Travel appointments must be paid separately if you are a package holder and the travel fee will apply.
Discounts and coupons cannot be applied for travel appointments.
Shipping Info & Acknowledgments
Liquid Confidence ships standard shipping. Shipping can take anywhere from 3-10 business days depending on location. If order is placed over the weekend, shipment will follow on the first business day from initial order.
The FDA recommends that you take the following measures to protect against ingestion or inhalation of DHA during your sunless session by using protective eyewear, nose filters, lip balm, and protective undergarments.
I understand that I am responsible for all jewelry, clothing accessories I wear or seating areas I access after my spray session in case of staining or damage. I understand that I do not hold anyone but myself responsible for any associated damage to these items.
I understand that this spray tanning solution does not contain sunscreen and will not protect me from UV damage.
All products used are generally considered skin safe with normal cosmetic use. There are, however, occasions where individuals may be allergic to one or more ingredients in the spray tan solution. To my knowledge, I have no medical condition or allergy which would preclude me from having this procedure done. I hereby assume responsibility for any kind of reaction I may have to the spray tan formula, and I am spray tanning at my own risk.
Although we do our best to prepare you for the best tan possible, there is a small percentage of people whose skin may not react favorably to spray tanning. Further, the results of spray tanning can vary depending on your preparation process and lifestyle post spray tan, and no guarantees of specific results are offered or implied. For these reasons, I have been advised not to be sprayed for the first time when my appearance is critical (e.g., wedding).
